What the Scanara Free plan includes and when to upgrade
The Free plan is for developers who want to try Scanara on their own repositories. It has no time limit and needs no credit card. Its limits are one-time totals that do not renew: 5 scans, 2 repositories, 3 assessments and 2 dossiers.
What the Free plan includes
Connect up to two GitHub repositories.
A one-time allowance that does not renew. One scan is one run on one repository and covers code and documents.
Code scans in 10+ programming languages and document scans in 8 languages. Scanara does not limit rules by plan.
Guided assessments (for example AIRA or FRIA) and draft dossiers (for example Annex IV technical documentation). One-time allowances to try the workflow.
Register one AI system and work on it alone.
Scan results stay visible for 30 days. The Free plan has no audit-trail access.
Purpose of the Free plan: It lets you see what Scanara finds before you pay. It does not expire.
The 5 scans do not renew
The 5 scans are a one-time allowance, not a monthly refill. Each scan counts once, whichever repository you scan.
After the last scan, new scans pause until you upgrade.
What triggers an upgrade
Team supports up to 15 repositories; Business has no repository limit.
Team includes 100 scans per month; Business includes 500.
Team includes 20 assessments and 10 dossiers per month; Business includes 70 and 50.
Team includes 10 AI systems and 7 team members; Business includes 50 and 50.

What happens when I reach a limit?
The 5 scans are a one-time allowance and do not reset. Once they are used, new scans pause until you upgrade. Scanara does not charge you automatically.

Yes. The Free plan uses the same scan rules as the paid plans. With 2 repositories and 5 scans you see what Scanara reports for your code. A scan result is not a compliance verdict: passing a scan does not mean an organization is compliant.
