What document formats does Scanara support?
Document scanning supports PDF, DOCX, HTML, JSON, Markdown and plain text in 8 EU languages (EN, DE, FR, IT, ES, NL, PL, PT). Scanara checks documents for content the EU AI Act requires. It does not verify that the content is true. Draft dossiers export as PDF, DOCX or Markdown.
Is Scanara a replacement for legal counsel?
No. Scanara scans code and documents, guides assessments and drafts documentation. It does not give legal advice, and meeting the obligations remains your organisation’s responsibility. For legal interpretation, edge cases and submissions to authorities, work with qualified legal counsel.
How long does a scan take?
It depends on the size of your repository. Scans run on demand, and the report shows the results when the scan finishes. Scheduled scans are planned and not yet available.
